Learning Objectives: Brainstorming a business idea, creating a logo, developing a marketing strategy, conducting competitor analysis, and launching a business plan using AI tools and toolkit resources.

Week 1: Choosing Your Business Idea & Making It Official

Assignment:

  • Brainstorm your business idea. Research the top 3 competitors in your industry. Why would your business stand out?

Discussion:

  • What makes a great logo? Share your thoughts on the colors you’d choose for your logo and explain why they resonate with your brand vision.

Deliverable:

  • Create a business plan using Deepseek or ChatGPT.
  • Research a business name and start thinking about your logo.

Week 2: Establishing Your Online Presence & Building a Website

Assignment:

  • Research 3 website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Elementor, Squarespace, Hoocos Wix). Compare their features and explain which one would be the best fit for your business.

Discussion:

  • Why is having a website essential for modern businesses? Share your insights.

Deliverable:

  • Purchase your domain (always get .com, .net, and .org).
  • Start planning your website content and graphics.

  • Domain: Secure .com, .net, and .org domains to protect your brand.
  • Website Hosting: Consider your website, the business’s virtual storefront.

Week 3: Crafting Your Marketing Strategy

Assignment:

  • Based on the selected marketing channels in your discussion, design a basic marketing campaign to promote your business.

Discussion:

  • For your business, which 3 marketing channels would you prioritize and why?

Deliverable:

  • Start thinking of the strategy you’d use to market your business. Consider the channel and your demographic.

  • Name 3 AI tools that could help streamline your marketing efforts. How would you integrate them into your workflow?

Assignment:

  • Consolidate everything you’ve learned. Create a cohesive launch campaign for your business idea, incorporating strategies and tools from previous weeks.

Discussion:

  • Reflect on the course. What are the top 3 takeaways you’ll apply to your entrepreneurial journey?

Deliverable:

  • Take everything you’ve gained from this course and put it together to build your business.
